The C. H. Booth Library strives to be an institution and building where Newtown patrons, including every race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, ability, tenure in town, education level, and socioeconomic class, feel seen, valued, safe, and well-served.

New Virtual Show on Our Exhibits Page: FiberWorks

FiberWorks is a group of artists who create a diverse range of work, combining fiber and other materials in various ways.  For the past 21 years, FiberWorks, originally known as “Scrapbaggers” has held its Annual Show at the C. H. Booth Library. Many of our neighbors in the community have visited their shows and spread the word about their work.  They hope to return to in-person shows next year.
