Mission: The Friends is a 501(c)(3) organization that raises funds used by the C.H. Booth Library for materials’ acquisition, programming, and special projects to enhance library services, as well as promote cultural and intellectual activity in the community. To fulfill this mission, the Friends solicits donated items to sell at an annual summer book sale, the year-round Little Book Store at the library, and other outlets. We also welcome dues-paying membership and monetary donations.

Volunteer: Are you a book lover looking to join a sociable group of like-minded individuals dedicated to supporting our library? Join the approximately 25 devoted volunteers who meet twice a week to review donations–books, media (CDs, DVDs, LPs), etc.–for possible resale at the annual summer book sale, The Little Book Store, and other venues. If your availability is limited, you may prefer to join with the over 100 volunteers who help set-up and run the annual summer book sale.
