Murder, Manhunt & Justice: Author Talk and Book Signing with Cynthia Adams

Posted on

Join us on Sunday, April 5, and meet the author as they discuss one of Connecticut’s most gruesome and heartbreaking crimes of 2020. Willington, CT is the epicenter of this crime frenzy which began on Memorial Day Weekend and ended six days later following a manhunt across state lines.

This spree took the life of beloved Willington resident, Ted DeMers, who was the model for Connecticut’s Minuteman Statue, as well as Nicholas Eisele of Derby, a childhood friend of the murderer. Issues of the death penalty, ‘Not guilty by reason of insanity’, and the impact of Covid on mental health treatment will all be discussed.

About Our Speaker: Cynthia Herbert Bruschi Adams is a Professor Emerita from the University of Connecticut and Psychologist. She has published several books and is a member of the American Psychological Association, Authors Guild, Slovene Studies Society, American Historical Association, and Italian American Writers.

This program is done with the approval of the families of the murder victims, who have contributed to the development of the book. A portion of book sales will go to the families of the murder victims.
