Take Your Child to the Library Day is February 1!

Saturday, February 1st is a great day to bring your child to the library.  Stop by the CHB Maker Space on the second floor between 11:30 am and 1:30 pm to play a board game, build with Strawbees or Legos and make a button to bring home.  No registration required.  At 2 pm, the Discovery Museum presents:  “Don’t Try This At Home,” a fun filled program that combines scientific principles with a few explosive surprises. Soccer Skills and Drills with Coach Tony:  Wednesdays at 11:30 am, January 22-Apr 30       Coach Tony Viscuso will introduce children to basic soccer skills while  promoting coordination and cooperative play. For ages 3-5 with an adult parter. Registration required for each class you plan to attend.

Lego Club meets on the following Saturdays from 2:00-3:30 pm in the story hour room: January 11, February 15, March 14, April 18, May 16 . Have fun designing and building with the library’s extensive Lego collection. For ages 4-8.

InnerAct with Anthony DePoto:  Saturday from 1:00-2:00 pm in the library meeting room.  February 8, March 14, April 18 and May 16.

Actor and educator, Anthony DePoto will lead children in a variety of theater games that foster effective communication, outside-the-box thinking and storytelling. For ages 7-10.
