Carm’s Classics Club: The Little Prince
Book Discussion

Join us for Carm O’Neill Classics Club, an all-ages book discussion group. In February we will be reading and discussing The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry (85 pages, published in 1943). All are welcome. Copies of The Little Prince will be available for pickup at the library’s Young Adult desk for participants.

Paint the Little Prince Workshop

Join us for a relaxed painting workshop inspired by the art in the novel The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. For all ages – those under 12 must be accompanied and assisted by an adult for the entirety of the program.

Intro to Babysitting
Saturday, February 15
10:30 AM to 2:30 PM in the Meeting Room

For ages 10 and up.

In this Introduction to Babysitting Course, participants will learn interviewing tips, communication skills, ages and stages of young babies and toddlers, safety and first aid tips, and feeding and caring for children, including diaper changing. A simple test will be administered at the completion of the course and certificates of completion will be distributed. Please bring a pen and paper. A light lunch will be provided.

DIY Herbal Perfume

Ditch your store-bought perfume! Most contain dozens of chemicals that do not have to be disclosed on the label. Experiment with base fragrances, mid-tones, and top notes. Create your own signature scent, mad scientist style! For young adults in grades 6-12.

Calling all adults and teens (grades 9-12) who enjoy playing tabletop board games, such as Settlers of Catan, Ticket to Ride, and more! Join us as we play a different tabletop game each month – discover new games, play familiar games, and have fun with other gaming enthusiasts! Register to let us know you’re coming, or just drop in.

Join us for an introductory session on how to use our 3D Printer. After attending one of these classes you may sign up for an individual session and use the printer on your own. For ages 12 – Adult. Those under 12 may attend accompanied by an adult.
