The Young Adult Department is located on the second floor of the library. We encourage all tweens and teens to use this space to hang out with friends, work on homework, use the computers, and play games.
Our Young Adult Librarian Catherine Findorak is happy to provide book recommendations – stop by the Young Adult Department for assistance, call 203-426-4533, or email firstname.lastname@example.org for all your YA needs!
Coding, crafts, book clubs, and more! Check our calendar to see what’s happening in YA. Got a suggestion for a program? Email us at email@example.com
Young Adult Council
The Young Adult Council (YAC) is a group of young adults in grades 6 through 12. We meet once a month during the school year to plan programs, do crafts, create displays and work on projects to help the library. Check our calendar for upcoming meeting dates.
Volunteering at the Library
Need community service hours? Interested in helping the library? Individuals ages 12 and up may stop by the Young Adult Department or the Circulation Desk to pick up a volunteer application. Volunteers are chosen according to their skills, the availability of supervision by Library staff and the needs of the Library. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions regarding volunteering.
